THE GREAT GENIUS/ Gazi Mustafa Kemal Exhibition will be OPENED in October in FOLKART GALLERY with ATATÜRK EXHIBITION in İzmir

Folkart Gallery is going to be the host for one of the most extensive Atatürk exhibitions up until today. In the exhibition, there will be 400 objects along with 400 of Atatürk photographs, some of which were never published before.

In the “THE GREAT GENIUS/Gazi Mustafa Kemal” exhibition, many different objects will be displayed such as Atatürk’s unpublished photographs, coffee cup, Time Magazine with Atatürk on the cover, gaslight chandeliers used by Atatürk during Turkish War of Independence and various clothes of him.Folkart Gallery, which was established in İzmir in 2015, will open the 2018-2019 Exhibition Season with “THE GREAT GENIUS/Gazi Mustafa Kemal” exhibition. The exhibition, in which the unpublished photographs, personal belongings, letters and various objects of the great leader Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, will be opened on October 19, 2018. This exhibition is considered as one of the most extensive Atatürk exhibition up until today. It will be open until May 26, 2019.

THE MOST EXTENSIVE ATATÜRK EXHIBITION

"THE GREAT GENIUS / Gazi Mustafa Kemal" exhibition, whose Project director is Fahri Özdemir and Project advisor is Zafer Toprak, contains mostly unknown Atatürk photographs along with many personal belongings, correspondence of Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, newspapers and magazines of his time and many other objects. This exhibition is the result of approximately three years working and was prepared by gathering objects from several private collections, particularly Eriş Ülger’s and Fahri Özdemir’s collections. “THE GREAT GENIUS / Gazi Mustafa Kemal” will be the most extensive Atatürk exhibition prepared up until today. 400 objects and Atatürk photographs, some of which never published before, can be seen in the exhibition.
